Notice on Hosting the Empowerment Training Session: “Understanding the Current Global Economic Landscape and Mitigating Overseas Security Risks”

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, the international environment faced by overseas Chinese-funded enterprises has undergone profound and complex changes, with traditional and non-traditional security risks escalating. To help overseas Chinese chambers of commerce and Chinese-funded enterprises better understand the current global economic situation and overseas investment risks, enhance their risk prevention capabilities, and facilitate the stable and long-term development of Chinese-funded enterprises' overseas investment and operations in the post-pandemic era, the Joint Meeting of Overseas Chinese Chambers of Commerce plans to hold the fourth session of the Chamber of Commerce Gas Station Empowerment Training - "Grasp the Current Global Economic Situation and Prevent and Respond to Overseas Security Risks" via online live broadcast at 15:00 Beijing time on June 11 (Friday).

This training has invited relevant experts from the Development Research Center of the State Council, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and the China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation to analyze the current global macroeconomic situation and the opportunities and challenges faced by overseas Chinese-funded enterprises under the new development paradigm for various overseas chambers of commerce and Chinese-funded enterprises. They will also analyze the risks of overseas investment for Chinese enterprises and explain how Chinese-funded enterprises can prevent and resolve overseas investment risks in the post-pandemic era (see Annex 1 for the detailed training agenda).
