At the donation ceremony, Ambassador Song Yaoming pointed out that China and Japan are friendly neighbors separated only by a narrow strip of water and are a community with a shared future that stands by each other in the face of the epidemic. Xie Luyi, the president of the Tokyo Branch of China Construction Bank, told a reporter from People's Daily Online that whenever a major disaster occurs in Japan, the Tokyo Branch of China Construction Bank will fulfill its social responsibility and actively donate funds.
