China Everbright Bank Tokyo Representative Office Held Its Inauguration Ceremony

On August 7th, People's Daily Online reported that the China Everbright Bank Tokyo Representative Office held its opening ceremony on August 6th, connecting Beijing and Tokyo. It is reported that this is the first important Chinese banking institution to enter Japan in nearly 8 years.

Li Xiaopeng, Chairman of China Everbright Group and China Everbright Bank, Yu Zaiqing, Vice President of the International Olympic Committee and Vice Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympics, and Song Yaoming, Economic and Commercial Ambassador of the Chinese Embassy in Japan, delivered speeches successively. Vice President of the Chinese Olympic Committee Li Lingwei, Executive Director of China Everbright Group and President of China Everbright Bank Fu Wanjun, Vice President of China Everbright Bank Qu Liang, President of the China Enterprise Association in Japan Wang Jiaxun, and General Representative of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade in Japan Ju Wenyong attended the event.

In his speech, Li Xiaopeng stated that China and Japan are important economic and trade partners. Over the years, the Tokyo representative office of Everbright Group, as well as its affiliated institutions such as China Youth Travel Service and Everbright Elderly Care, have made friends from all walks of life in Japan, conducted in-depth market research, and promoted coordinated development, allowing more Japanese friends to understand the "Everbright" brand. They have played a positive role in promoting economic and trade exchanges between China and Japan, and jointly fighting against the epidemic. Its subsidiary Everbright Bank has signed a contract to sponsor the national badminton team, Everbright Yongming Insurance has escorted the national badminton team to Tokyo, and China Youth Travel Service (CYTS) has become a partner of the national weightlifting team.
