The China-Japan Enterprise Association and Meikai University (a school corporation) held a comprehensive cooperation signing ceremony in Japan.

 Tokyo, December 28th (People's Daily) - On the 24th, the signing ceremony for the comprehensive cooperation between the China Enterprise Association in Japan and the legal representative of Minghai University was held at the Minghai Campus in Urayasu City, Chiba Prefecture, Japan.

Wang Jiaxun, President of the China Enterprise Association in Japan, Ju Wenyong, Vice President of the China Enterprise Association in Japan, Zhang Yicheng, President of the International Talent Exchange Association, Jun Miyata, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Minghai University, Toshimichi Yasui, President of Minghai University, Xiaomei Uchihara, Head of the Employment Guidance Center at Minghai University Urayasu Campus, Feng Li, General Manager of Air China Japan, He Xiaojian, President of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Tokyo Branch, and Wu Xiangdong, President of China National Chemical Corporation Japan Branch, attended the signing ceremony on that day.

Wang Jiaxun stated that since its establishment, the association has been committed to expanding and developing Sino Japanese economic and trade cooperation as well as Sino Japanese friendly relations, constantly innovating forms of cooperation and creating opportunities for exchanges and development between China and Japan. The association currently has nearly 120 Chinese enterprise members, covering various fields such as trade, manufacturing, finance, insurance, logistics, transportation, tourism, labor services, and cultural exchanges. All of them are representative enterprises and offices in Japan. The China Enterprise Association in Japan actively undertakes social responsibility. Whenever Japan suffers from major natural disasters, it will donate various relief materials to the disaster stricken areas as soon as possible, contribute its own strength, and solve the urgent needs of the local government and people. Wang Jiaxun pointed out that the association hopes that both parties can take the signing of a comprehensive cooperation agreement as an opportunity to achieve significant development in education and culture, as well as in promoting research, talent cultivation, flexible use of talent and knowledge resources, and enhancing dental and medical cooperation among member units of the China Enterprise Association in Japan.

According to Jun Miyata, Urayasu University was formerly known as Chengxi Dental University, established in 1970 in Sakado City, Saitama Prefecture. Since the establishment of the Urayasu campus in 1988 and its official renaming as Minghai University, it has developed into a comprehensive university with six faculties, four graduate schools, and one international student department. In order to cultivate international talents with comprehensive abilities, Minghai University not only establishes a Department of Foreign Languages to train foreign language talents, but also actively implements an overseas training system and widely accepts international students from overseas. Jun Miyata said that it is proud that since 1988, the Chinese Department of the Department of Foreign Languages at Minghai University has trained about 1700 outstanding graduates who are active in various fields such as business and cultural exchanges between the two countries. At the same time, as early as 1987, Minghai University formed a sisters school with Beijing Medical University (now Peking University Medical Department). On this basis, it has now exchanged international students with six well-known universities in China (Peking University, Beijing Normal University, Beijing Foreign Studies University, Fudan University, Zhejiang University, Air Force Military Medical University). In 2020 alone, there will be 380 Chinese students receiving education in Minghai University. Jun Miyata hopes to further realize his academic philosophy and cultivate outstanding talents who can be active on the international stage on the basis of cooperation with the China Enterprise Association in Japan. He looks forward to students making contributions to promoting friendship between the two countries during their internship and after joining the company.

On that day, Zhang Yicheng, President of the International Talent Exchange Association, signed a memorandum of understanding for student internships and employment with Minghai University. Both sides hope that through this move, students and graduates of Minghai University can intern and join relevant enterprises or institutions, thereby cultivating more outstanding international talents and further promoting the friendship and development of high-end talents between the two countries.
